Solar Water Heating
A solar panel is installed on the roof of your home and an anti-freeze solution runs through pipes going between the solar panel and a heat exchanger in your home. The heat exchanger is connected to a solar water storage tank that receives water from your home's water supply line and heats the water. The solar water storage tank delivers the heated water (up to 165 degrees F) to your home's existing water heater. Your existing water heater supplies your home with water heated to between 110 and 130 degrees F. Your existing water heater will continue to be connected to the standard power meter of your home.
